I Will Never Wish

Upon the Right Star

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 5 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

V-1

Lying here alone in the grass

I stare up at the sky

Hoping I can find a lucky star

And wishing you were still mine

V-2

But there’ll never be enough stars

To bring your love back to me

No matter how many may fall

My heart will never be free

CH:

I’ll never wish upon the right star

Or find a good luck charm

That will ease the aching in my heart

I’ll never wish upon the right star

V-3

I’ve worn myself out asking

What did I do to make you leave?

But daylight is almost here

It’s time to set your memory free

Repeat CH
