I hope to find you
One fine day,
Not just for a roll in the hay
But to form a way
To love
*
A love so fine
And real
That will not melt
So that I knew
Just what I felt
Was true and just

Not an idle day goes by
I do not ask why
You are not with me yet,
Why you will not show your face
And let it lay by mine
But give it time
My hope is fuel
This very hour
For what I know must be
*
So fly to me
My care worn dove
And I will be your home.
