To Make You Think

I wear pink, so you can see the color of my storm.

In spite of my fight, I have been loved since the day I was born!

I wear pink, so the blues in my heart will flow!

Just so you know - I have come out of the fire, my enemies retired!

I am rocking pink now - free as a bird.

I fly higher - so my song can be heard!

No one understood my internal wiring.

I wear pink, the more dangerous than the rainbow; though misunderstood,

Be careful - I am still from the hood!

Now the world we watch me engage; with just one look of a lover's gaze,

I will teach the world to love, turning haters from their rage and delusional purple haze!

Strutting down the runway, stealing the show - looking like a rare flamingo,

I am taking center stage on the dance floor; like a 70's disco -

Every color will watch me spin and go!

With all it's glitz and glamour; this guy is going to make you think,

How is he rocking the color called pink!?
