I was so full of love that I could barely eat
Memories

Adorned by the atrocity, bemoaned by the call
In the dire stance of existence, the elusiveness of stillness in its mirth had its stall.
Rising in its brevity, sinking its fangs deeper into the nuance of dismay,
The sheer windfall of memories forged their relevance in the shadows of today.
--------------
Unscathed in its touch, unfathomable in its temper that lies untold,
The beauty of time lies in the impermanence of its tale that man beholds.
I danced with the uprise and cried in its downfall,
To be or not be, my true essence in conundrums of desolation crawled.
------------------------------------
Man is the captain of his soul and the master of his fate, the notions echoed through thin air,
Alas, fate had planned otherwise, vowing to show humans the dimwits of its hair.
In our endeavours to conquer the being, we brace our souls to vanquish the demons of the unknown,
Mellowing our intentions, the forces of destined circumstance forge to be our humbled home.
----------------------------
Time and the tide of destiny await their presence of no being that fosters to be,
To cry with its glance or to smile in its trance, our sight embellishes the hope we see.
I was so full of life and love that I could barely eat the sorrow that embroiled in its plight,
To be adorned by the atrocity or to be bemoaned by the call, is a question that yearns to find its light.
