I was in love without you
One of those rare times where my poem actually rhymes

I was in love without you
You were never there
I lied to myself
When I said I didn't care
I was in love without you
Chasing shadows down halls
I acted like it didn't matter
When you'd never call
I was in love without you
Empty touches breaking hearts
I thought that I would end it
Turns out there was no start
I was in love without you
Eyes gouged out, can't see
That you were just a lesson
Your love wasn't meant for me
I was in love without you
Now I'm falling for myself
I refuse to be a thing
That isn't worthy of your shelf

Well done! I always find it so hard to do rhyme, just takes so much time. Loved that couple “ I thought I would end it, turns out there was no start”
