I was healed as I walked my dog
I felt the love and warmth as I was healed with in Amen

I was healed as I walked my dog
In the quiet hush of early morning’s hold,
I walked my dog through trees of gold.
The woods, a secret, solemn choir,
Their whispers soft, a hidden fire.
Beneath the boughs where shadows sigh,
A sudden glow, a silent cry,
Not of sorrow, nor of pain,
But something pure, a gentle rain.
Angels lingered, veiled in light,
No wings displayed, no blinding sight
Just warmth that brushed against my skin,
A silent voice that spoke within.
Their grace, a balm, unseen, untold,
Mended cracks both new and old.
And as my dog, with tail a-swirl,
Chased a leaf’s unsteady twirl,
I found my heart, no longer torn,
Reborn within the quiet morn.
Pain of arthritis now gone away
As I walked into the heeling rays
