I Was About to Say Something

Then I Saw You

I was about to

say something

I can't remember what

It was on the tip of my tongue

But then my mouth got stuck

My brain shut down

My neurons ceased to fire

Because I saw your face

My heart began to race

Filling with desire

To hold you in my arms

To be with you right now

The words I really want to say

I only got about halfway

I can't remember how
