I want to want to love you again
the baby steps of moving forward often times feel like moving backward
By Katarina TylerPublished 4 months ago • 1 min read

Heart bloodshot and stuck back in November
every beat pushes me still back to you
I know you still wear that woolen sweater
the one I wrapped and gave special to you
cashmere memories, dreaming in voicemail
your living room carpet stuck in my teeth
the ravens don’t care about the detail
I’m counting the days it’s still the eighteenth
You’ve painted my cabernet heartbreak blue
I lay beside thoughts of making amends
I’m getting so sick of surviving you
I want to want to love you again
