I Waited

You did not come

By S Sherie WilsonPublished about a month ago 1 min read
I waited

I waited for you in the hall,

You said that you’d be there.

So now I wait for you to call.

But still not heard from you at all.

Im wondering do you even care.

For you, I did not intend to fall.

As I see your picture on the wall ,

I can’t help but sit and stare.

Have you forgot? Do you recall?

The feelings we shared at all .

When you said, that I was rare.

We fell in love and laughed in awe.

Now we won’t be meeting at the mall.

I cannot find you anywhere.

And Now I'm feeling really small.

You forgot that I was in the hall,

Excitedly waiting for you there.

You didn’t come and didn’t call.

If you show, just know, I gave it my all.
