I should stop my day-dreaming

Day dreaming wastes your time and a bit of yourself too.

I intended to grow rich

Richer than James Bond!

I fantasized about all, I was ever fond

My wish list- I prepared was dude hell long

.

I saw a march, people were with a torch

Words loud, shoulders tight, and deep-set eyes

And I was their King, I ruled over their heads

My dream broke when I opened my eyes losing my flying porche

.

I again slept, continued the dream from a lost

This time I met an old wise man, told him about it all

He said, 'You can't see me 'cause I am a delusion'

I'm of no advice but I'll deceive you at any cost

.

I woke up again, This time I'll ask that creep!

I slid through my covers and had another sleep

I searched for that man, I searched too well

I found a rusty letter, that said something deep

.

It said, " I am delusional, I can make you see the star

You'll see all good and wealth with me -long as you go far!"

I thought to myself, " What was he talking about?"

I got it when I read the end that said, "Just a fool you are!"

.

That man was a deceiver and he referred to my dream

He pointed out that I was every day just into that beam

He advised me that I should stop my day-dreaming

Because sun could burn away, all that I'd ever seen

.

.

.

Author's note:

I think day-dreaming always causes us to lose that ounce of milk in our jar.

Daydreams are good 😊👍 Even when they spiral off to not such a good place. It's a rich seam 😁

Good morning Maryam I imagine I could be your father,s age when I first read one of your works, I found that the work was great and its author had a wide imagination As for my method, it is to spend my time and my luck because it is innate and does not cost me effort and trouble because it has been with me throughout the years of my life. Overall, I applaud you for your wonderful work keep it up, your work is admirable

"Sister, what’s the matter? You have such maturity. Are you just 16-17 years old? I also daydream, but mine are a bit more, much more heavy and vast. Very deep thoughts are amazing. Keep it up with more passion!
