Fire in my eyes,
the depth of my soul.
Screaming out the lies
you include in this role.
Tell me what to say,
how I’m supposed to feel.
I can do it all
and make you think it’s real.
There you are,
far beyond my scope.
Taunting me from high,
I stand below my hope.
If I try to better,
I can make you see.
It's not your fault
I can't change who I want to be.
You don’t see where you’re going,
I see it all just fine.
And watch as you hit the wall
That’s just beyond the line.
