I practice standing with Willow
Maybe it never happened.
1
Every morning, I stand at the pool, adjust my posture, relax my whole body, put my weight firmly on my two heels, and try to breathe calmly and naturally every time.
On the other side of the pond, there is a large willow tree, its soft branches, and narrow leaves swinging calmly and naturally in the early summer sun.
2
A black and white waterfowl, standing on the top of a curved dead lotus stalk, on a weed at the water's edge, in a bush on the shore, between the branches of the willow tree.
Each time I saw it, it returned to stillness in a new position. That deft little bird was in its stillness.
3
My stance time was predetermined; after 30 minutes I would turn away. But the willow tree continued to stand at the pond. It had to stand for that long, so it must have been very relaxed, and its breathing must have been very calm and natural. I think it needs to give up all motives.
Including a tree's inescapable motivation to grow.
4
The water of the pool is filthy, and after a few days, the pool will stink and breed many mosquitoes. At the moment, on the black water, the white petals of a water lily are opening slightly.
5
Today I say, "I practiced standing with the willow tree!" Later I will say, "I used to practice stance with the willows!" We don't hear how the willows, the birds, and the flowers talk about this matter.
At their pools, a person may never appear.
