Life is too stressful and I need a break

I'm tired of a monotonous life

Why can't I seem to get away?

I want to feel the sun on my face

I want to swim in the ocean

I want to explore a new place.

Life is too boring and I need a change

I'm tired of a busy life

Why must I deal with other's games?

I want to collect seashells

I want to see a starfish

I want to be happy and not fail.

I will watch the waves crash

While I soak up the sun

I will watch the seagulls fly

As they wait for fish to snatch.
