be proud of that ... always
Did you ever think this could happen?
That after it all, after all that's taken place
You would still be fighting, hanging on
Despite the hurdles and challenges
Perhaps in spite of the trauma?
It may feel as if you're drowning at times
Like nothing you do matters or counts
I know you feel insignificant and unimportant
Believing the world would spin unaffected
If you were to not be on it anymore
But you matter, you exist, no one can take that
You found yourself, and you're alive again!
If nothing else on this little marble in space
I'm proud of you for staying, for fighting
Every day you get up and face the world
A victory you should be proud about!
You, I ... I am proud of everything I've done
Proud of finding a reason to keep fighting
Because despite everything I have faced ...
I'm. Still. Here.
