I’m Not Broken

I am not invincible,

I am more compassionate than anyone would ever know.

Raised to care,

to be kind and do what I can for others and myself.

If you needed me,

reach out to me anytime,day or night.

I will listen,

allowing you to hear your voice.

I will feed you,

to give you strength.

I will clothe you,

to keep you warm and safe.

Yet I am not perfect by any means.

Like everyone I am me.

My goals are happiness, kindness and doing my best to be brave.

Not just for myself, but others.

My family will always be number one in my heart.

I will be there for them, morning, noon and night.

My husband, my best friend.

There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for him! As he does for myself and family.

Our children, our greatest gift.

With wings they fly, if they need me I will do my best.

That’s what we all can do.

Even if it is small.

The more kindness,compassion in a world that can be unkind.

Will help in so many ways.
