Dear God,

I'm on the battleground,

I'm losing it all, especially myself.

I'm holding on with one last breath.

I've made pacts with darkness.

I wanted that - more than I wanted you.

Everyone needs grace.

I need grace.

I let go of you,

and I grabbed onto the world.

The world let me down,

just like you said it would.

I preached that we should trust you.

I guess I was the last to trust you.

Save me again; I know you keep me calling me to you.

This time I need you to save me from myself;

please save me from me: I can't live another day without you!

I know I asked before, but let me ask again.

I don't think I deserve you,

but I know I need you.

Nobody deserves you,

but the world needs you.

The weather's storming.

People think you're not here.

I know you are.

I don't see you, but I feel you.

You're with me,

You keep me.

I don't thank you enough.

When I fall, you pick me up.
