I'm Home

The city that couldn't keep me.

I'm home.

It's a feeling in my chest, an expansion, a reaction to the familiar.

I'm home.

Even though I didn't spend much time here, the city somehow took a part of my soul.

I'm home.

That comfort and warmth that seeps into me.

I'm home.

In some ways, so much has changed, and yet, so little has changed in others.

I'm home.

Does everyone feel this way when they greet the city?

I'm home.

That energy that courses through me and causes me to smile.

I'm home.

I've been away too long, and it's been calling my name.

But now, I'm home.
