I was running through the city roads,

Hoping to find food,

When I got stuck in the traffic lights,

Stuck in this silly queue!

The lights were stuck on red,

for more than an hour or two,

And my tummy was rumbling,

Wilder than London Zoo!

I stamped my heavy foot on the ground,

But I couldn't smash this queue in two;

I even let out a mighty ROAARR!

The humans ignored that too.

I had an urge to eat the traffic lights,

But the people in the cars would do!

I diverted from that temptation,

Because I couldn't hack the traffic radiation.

So;

I waited and I waited,

While My tummy rumbled like thunder,

Even those annoying car horns

Didn't appeal to me for dinner.

I stared at the junk of steel,

Tempted to make it my meal,

I knew better than to tempt my taste buds

with no flavor of appeal!

I was angry in this queue waiting,

Couldn't they hear my loudspeaker shouting?

I decided to use my big feet,

Out of those cars, I would make mince-meat!

A driver winged as I smashed his bonnet,

I didn't care;

I needed my gourmet!

I made it to the front,

And everyone had a grump,

I ROARED with laughter,

It's mind over matter,

And I stuck out my tongue then shouted

"Jeez, I can run faster than that queue!"
