I Loved You in Silence, and That Was My Loudest Mistake

When words stay hidden, hearts break louder

By Abraham LopezPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Intro:

Some love stories are never written in ink—they're etched in silence, in the glances that never turned into words.
This is for the ones who loved quietly, who never confessed, and who now carry an ache louder than any goodbye.

---

Poem:

I saw your soul before I knew your name,
A quiet storm I couldn’t tame.
You smiled like summer, stayed like rain,
Then left me blooming in the pain.

I traced your shadow in every song,
Hoping silence wouldn't mean I was wrong.
But silence, it seems, was the only reply—
To the love I gave and your silent goodbye.

I loved you softly, like a fading light,
And you—
You disappeared into the night.

---

Outro:

If you've ever loved someone in silence, you're not alone.
Let this poem be the words you never said.
