I Loved Her

Part 2

By Marshall WallacePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Aren't we all running from something?

Running from our dreams our fears,

I missed you I screamed into the night on the darkest day,

Not yet I say I just found you. Don't leave yet,

Don't make me laugh, I need you I say

Please just stay not for a year anymore,

For a minute, not even seconds,

It's too early to let the bear in

To be happy what is that?

Where can I be happy too?

You tossed the word love everywhere, but I see why everyone turns evil around you,

You tease them, let them have a taste and no more.

It hurts, burns like coffee on my throat but I never laid a hand on you,

I need someone strong to handle my passive aggressiveness

I loved you, but now the curtain closes,

If I said it a lot, who knows what damage I'll be in,

I loved you,

I loved You,

I loved YOU,

Where do I go if the past is closed?

Where do I go?

My heart freezing over to stop and run is the most difficult,

I tried it,

I tried to look past your flaws and love you like i loved her, but you're not her.

You're mine. You stayed and I waited.

WAited for it to be love ,

Waited for the cold parts of my heart to unfreeze

NEver hurt you, but loved you how you should be loved

So what about me?

I'm writing all this incase you see it or even hear it.

heartbreak
