A poem for MLK Day
I have dream that everyday won’t be filled with tears and not one human heart has to live with fear.
I have a dream that we see difference as a beauty of people and we treat each other equal.
I have a dream that evil is what we rise above. Speaking only the universal language of love.
I have a dream that strife won’t get to you or me. We’ll overcome division and live in unity.
I have a dream to persevere through all the pain, knowing that all my brothers never sacrificed in vain.
I have a dream to put faith in the hearts of kids and love them unconditionally like Martin did.
I have a dream that we can look at different colors of one another and remember we’re all brothers.
I have a dream that we can hold hands together as we stand together in a peaceful land together.
