I fell in love with you in a daze, but I lost you with a clear feeling
A Free Poem

I fall in love with you, in a haze,
But the clarity of losing you stays.
Like a mist that obscures my path,
Love's grip on my heart begins to fade.
In the depths of my dreams, I hold you tight,
Yet reality reveals a different light.
The pain of knowing you're no longer mine,
Clear as day, it cuts through like a knife.
What once was a flame burning bright,
Now dwindles, flickers, and loses its fight.
The clarity of our parting is bittersweet,
A painful truth I cannot deny or delete.
Though I stumble in this state of confusion,
I must confront the clarity of our conclusion.
Love may be hazy, but loss is certain,
And I must find solace in the lessons learned.
Through the fog of mixed emotions and tears,
I navigate the path of healing and years.
For in surrendering to what's been undone,
I open myself to a brighter sun.
So I'll embrace the clarity of moving on,
Letting go of what is already gone.
Though the love may have slipped away,
I'll cherish the memories, come what may.
