Free verse

In the realm of imagination,

Where words dance and emotions sing,

I embark on a journey of expression,

Unbound by rules that clip my wings.

Free verse, my companion,

No rhyme or meter to confine.

I let my thoughts flow like a river,

Unrestrained, uncontrolled, yet divine.

The pen becomes my brush,

Painting vivid pictures with each stroke.

The canvas of my mind, boundless,

Unfolding tales that provoke.

I write of love, raw and pure,

Of dreams that soar to distant skies.

I weave stories of hope and despair,

Of laughter, tears, and heartfelt sighs.

No shackles of structure to hold me,

No boundaries to fence my soul.

I am an artist of words,

Creating worlds within, untold.

In this realm of liberation,

I find solace and true release.

For in free verse, I discover,

A reflection of my inner peace.

So I'll continue to write freely,
