I Feel Like A Goddess
I wrote this after conversing with a friend, who had just started dating again after a sequence of abusive relationships. Her story touches my heart, as she learns to be an independent, and strong woman, with much more clarity and wisdom than before. Independent, doesn’t always mean single!
The way you make me feel
When you treat me with respect
When you give me meaningful attention
I feel like a Goddess
I feel like a Goddess
And I deserve this respect
The way you make me feel
When you believe in me
When you give intelligent feedback,
Or conversation
I feel like a Goddess
I feel like a Goddess
And I deserve this respect
The way you make me feel
When you give me hand picked flowers
Especially those nurtured from your Energy
I feel like a Goddess
I feel like a Goddess
And I deserve this respect
The way you make me feel
When you also appreciate the stars
And the sun,
And the moon
I feel like a Goddess
I feel like a Goddess
And I deserve this respect
The way you make me feel
When you are passionate about
Earth, nature, and humanity
I feel like a Goddess
I feel like a Goddess
And I deserve this respect
The way you make me feel
When you express your talents
Your many, many talents
I feel like a Goddess
I feel, just like,
A Goddess
And I deserve this respect
I deserve to feel, just like
A Goddess
