I don't wanna be a weed

I want to be a flower

I want to fit in

I want to find my place in all of this mess

I want to feel like I belong

I don’t want to stick out like a weed in a field of flowers

I want to be a flower

A beautifully blooming flower

I love this. My husband is in constant futile battle with the weeds in our yard. A lot of them I don't mind. Clover blooms are pretty and make crowns in the summer. Dandelions make wishes. I love wild flowers, but if I had to choose a flower to be, I would want to be a peony.
