I was young
Thought I was in love
I fell hard
But I wasn’t too smart
He tore my heart in to pieces
He was so misleading
Leaving my heart bleeding
Got my eyes so teary
He made my whole system weary
But I loved him
But I don't know why?
Why did I love him?
He hurt me
Disappointed me
And I let him
Because I love him
Did I need someone?
Did I want someone?
I love him
I want to stay with him
But why?
Why am I putting myself through this?
The truth is
I don’t know why I love him so
So young
So naive
But now that I’m older
I know better
I know what love is.
And he wasn't it.
If he loved me, he would stay with me
Love me
Treat me right
Keep me by my side
No more lies
Looking back
I was young
I didn't realized why I love him
But now
I don't know why I loved him
