I don't know where I fit

I don't know where I fit...

In this puzzle called politics,

I'm a piece not yet placed,

Somewhere lost in the middle.

It's funny, truly, as this world starts to crumble,

Each side of this puzzle looks exactly the same!

----

One side craves power the other control,

One side wants money the other wants gold,

One side profits off propaganda through news,

The other profits off propaganda through news,

Still both sides argue the other is wrong,

And both sides villainize all of there critics,

Both sides will tell you they work for the people,

Until it comes time to help, from both sides are crickets.

I can relate and maybe there’s not supposed to be sides, only defined problems to fix and goals to achieve
