I want all of my friends

to know who you are

fell asleep passenger your car

woke up to a buzz near my head

she asked me where i was

my fuzziness fled

flew thru blue green night,

the sleep was nothing

it was light

my baby’s in the front side

before June didn’t know him at all

my boyfriend’s famous on the internet,

in real life he’s five feet tall

my baby keeps some secrets

my baby takes all my calls

my boyfriend has a boyfriend too,

my boyfriends got it all

dreamt he kept a yellow truck

in it my possessions, he kept them wrapped

as we drove they bled into the street

when we saw it,

we just laughed

40 miles is catharsis

played miles, said i have good taste

asked me about my parents

said it’s complicated cos I’m gay.

red light signaled to the right side

said ‘well good thing when you’re with me,

you’re straight’

love poems
