I choose color.

There are days the road I am on is as dark as night. The road is bumpy, unclear, with no direction. I don’t know where I am going, but I choose to see the white stars and bright moon guiding me.

There are days the people around me are toxic, negative, casting a black shadow, spreading like a poison to anyone near. Who drown me to their dark depths. But I walk away. I choose to surround myself with people who glow, who allow me to fly.

There are days everything is grey. Everything is mundane, cold, uninspiring. But I choose to follow the yellow sun, casting it’s warm rays to the world's everyday beauty.

There are days my mind is an endless black sea. My thoughts are waves of anxiety, depression, worry. But I choose to change my thoughts. I choose to change my perception. I choose to change my idea of the world. I choose to believe in myself and my capabilities.

I choose happiness.

I choose color.
