her laced lips try to make up a new story that tell truth with hanging shadows of altered past

Her love was like a new dip in a fresh sea of light

But the light burned, a searing freshness that filled the air with all things that could bite

The leftover coffee stood pale like a smoking gun, the fumes that swore secrecy

Light burns so quiet in the dark, quaking my heart as your name is written on my brain like an invisible flame

You left me so cold though I’m biting the dust and heaving dry and burning up hot

I’m

Biting the dust by your side glance that cut me up

The leftover manuscript was never meant for me

It’s a true tragedy nowadays when murders get covered up only cause there wasn’t any body to find.
