I cannot, but I can.

I cannot, but I can.

I cannot soar high like the eagle,

Or run as fast as the cheetah can.

I cannot paint a masterpiece,

Or play music like a virtuoso's hand.

But I can love with all my heart,

And give it freely to those I hold dear.

I can be kind to strangers,

And chase away their fear.

I cannot solve the world's problems,

Or bring peace to every land.

I cannot make the sun rise faster,

Or hold the sea in my hand.

But I can offer a helping hand,

And be a light in someone's day.

I can stand up for what is right,

And never let injustice have its way.

I cannot do everything,

But I can do something to make a change.

I cannot do it alone,

But together we can rearrange.

So let us focus on what we can do,

And not on what we cannot.

For with a little effort and love,

We can achieve a lot.
