I Can't Stop Thinking of You
A Poem

I watched a scroll of you today
If hope is an aphrodisiac then there must be sparkle in your soul
The tears of Lucinda
All I can think of is what makes the keeper whole
But that you wouldn't know
The soul of you
A Virgil in this lifetime
To touch
The heart, the mind of
But the fortress doesn't bend
Does it change
Ideas like a monumental surprise
Yearning is what I remember
When push comes to shove
Be like the rest then
But with the untouchable
Because there is a lion in the corridor
Like stone, like grace
Forgive my awkwardness
The christening of the almighty is in fortitude
The branch of salvation a bitter door when closed
The lift is the twinkle
Thine eye is the cymbal of outer hearts that never crumbled
Want not will not I know the love of Heaven
Who am I to choose the want of nature
Because a muse will never leave a heart beating
