I can't breath (Human Rights)

Rest in peace George Floyd

By Dr Selin CalikPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
I can't breath

I can’t breathe

I can’t breathe, ma’am

Since I’ve seen how human-beings can be brutal against my race

I can’t breathe, ma’am

Since I’ve seen how human-beings can see my race as a threat

I can’t breathe, ma’am

Since I’ve seen how human-beings can use kneeling on my neck as a weapon

Can I breathe, sir?

If power to the people

Calls for justice and feed my children at home…
