I Can Fly (Maybe!)
Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge Day 26

I must be my imagination
Making me think this way
All of a sudden, I feel euphoric
Got a big smile on my face today
Imagine that I think I can fly
Not in the usual way
All together different in a crazy kind of way.
Taking off into the breeze
Instantly I fly
Oh my God, Iโve just jumped off the roof
Not going to be a very good day ๐๐
[Author's note: An Acrostic poem for Ellie's challenge. If you have ever dealt with someone suffering from bipolar disorder, one of the sad aspects of this affliction is that when they have a manic attack, they become euphoric, believing they can do the unnatural. Jumping off a roof because they think they can fly is something a manic person would imagine in their mind.]
Till next time,

The poem was amusing to read, as Iโve always wanted to fly like thatโฆ but what a danger when someone is bipolar or delusional in this way.๐ค๐ฅบ
wow from hopeful to "uh-oh" this poem is a great rollercoaster that spins the prompt "imagination" to an unexpected and very real place that not many understand.
awewsome
This poem really shows the strange mindset during a manic episode. It's wild how someone can go from feeling euphoric to having such a dangerous thought like jumping off a roof. Have you ever witnessed or experienced something similar? It makes you realize how important it is to understand and support those dealing with bipolar disorder. Crazy how quickly moods can shift.
