Contemplating II

sitting in the bedroom with the dark shades,

staring at the moon, making a wish I assumed,

I assumed a bright florescent flower, as the sun rose,

handed over by yours truly, turn my chest to you,

hugging you deeply I assumed.

I assumed we would've had a first kid,

then here she is tall as ever,

thirty pounds of brown skin melanin,

bright and intelligent, like her parents, baby girls a star,

forever and ever, I assumed we would never,

have gotten to this point, but that's life so now what?

love yourself first is the most important,

feed your soul and clear your mind,

buy some flowers and drink some wine,

blast the music and bust a wine,

twirl in circles and do some yoga,

stretch them legs girl, bust it open.

do your therapy and fill your own cup,

you'll know who loves you before the times up.

is there a really a time limit on the amount of love,

to give and receive from someone,

if its unconditional, that bond, phew its hard!
