Breaking Free from the Past and Stepping Into My Power

I Am Not Who I Was Yesterday

The Power of Change

Yesterday, I carried doubt like a weight on my shoulders.

It clung to me, heavy and unshakable.

But today?

Today, I set it down.

I won’t let old fears wrap around me like vines.

I won’t let my past hold the pen to my story.

That version of me?

She tried her best.

But I’m walking forward now.

Taking Back My Space

I don’t fold myself small anymore.

I don’t whisper when I want to sing.

I don’t wait for permission to take up space.

I stand where I choose.

I speak in my own voice.

And I don’t apologize for it.

The Strength in Becoming

I have cracked and mended a hundred times over.

I have stood in the storm and let the rain hit my skin.

I have walked through fire and came out whole.

I’m still here.

And I’m still rising.

I am not who I was yesterday.

And tomorrow?

Tomorrow, I will be someone even stronger.

Acknowledge them, learn from them, and move forward. You are not the same person who made them.

Why is it important to take up space?

Because you deserve to exist fully. You deserve to be seen, heard, and valued—without shrinking.
