Sometimes life events just happens.

By Payal MotlaPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

"I am not ok," Sometimes this sentence needs to be told.

Its ok :

To be not the one, who will always smile at strangers,

To be not the one who succeeds in business at every move,

To be not feeling like talking to some one for some days,

To be not feeling your best self while going for an important presentation,

To be telling your boss that I need some downtime to rejuvenate,

To be not going for a Saturday night party, That's Maturity creeping in,

To not laugh at some colleague's cranky joke,

To be not the first one to ask the girl out for date,

To be not doing dishes pending in the sink,

To be not knowing cooking till 35,

To be not someone who wakes up early every morning,

To be not someone who loves going to work,

To be not knowing all the answers to your problems,

To be ok if you are late for your speaking engagement,

To be really the one who forgets Mom's birthday,

KNOW THAT WE ALL MESS UP IN SOME AREA OF OUR LIFE.

but WHAT IS NOT OK IS THAT

You going nuts over these petty things, you driving yourself crazy or beating yourself up for being so stupid,

What's not ok,

Is you LOSING your Stillness, YOUR CALM and COMPOSURE that helps you sail through life.

Remember that life is full of ups and downs. But its important to

SHOW UP EVERYDAY.

Because that's How life is, sometimes weird sometimes sweet.
