I Am N
I once read a short story about using the letter "N" to represent deep belief and devotion, as well as a statement declaring to follow the "Nazarene" the Christ.
Desert sand gets whipped across my face
A gash from a knife across my cheek
So I turn to the other, patience and faith
I know the end is mocking me, but I am flattered
Most people run from the repercussions of this life
But to die is Christ
I am N
And I will not fear death,
To be absent in the body is to be present with Him
I welcome the thought
To defy the norms, will lead to my demise,
I pray for my family to have peace
Now I am being live streamed, for my family to see
For the nations overseas,
My faith is to be served as a warning, they will not hesitate
Father forgive them, should they know not what they do,
Tatted with the letter, N
Marked for death, a follower of the Nazarene
I see the blood of the Lamb, the Great I Am
My Christ, King of kings
I regret nothing,
Let this be a moment of peace,
Give my family the Psalms they need
Like an uncut,
I see green pastures,
When asked to renounce my faith, I responded
I. Am. N.
