I Am Home

The home we share

By She Who LivesPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
A symphony of unity

who am I?

I’ve asked myself this everyday.

Like a thought that never fades.

That questions stays with me,

Haunts my dreams relentlessly.

Yet it has paved my way.

For if this question had never come.

I would not know the home I am.

My essence would have just stayed numb.

No love, or fear, or pain, would have awakened the home I am.

Now I walk with bright new eyes.

Opened up to all life’s lies.

I can see so understandably,

That she is I, he is me, and we are we.

Home is who we all are.

A beautiful symphony of unity.

Now let’s all walk hand in hand,

Through this beautiful green ocean land.

As we look up to the same blue sky,

No matter where our heads still lie.

Home is more than where our hearts reside.

Home is us, our laughs and cries.

Home is all that never dies.

That subtly feeling inside,

That silently whispers,

Home is I.

About the Creator

She Who Lives

I have no age, no recollection of where I was born, nor do I know my own name. I feel as if I have no place in this vast land. A stranger among the known. The words I write surround me in blissful uncertainty. That is who I am.
