I am a C.O.G.
Constantly gripping onto the empty space between my peaks
I am a C.O.G.
Constantly turning in one direction, meek
I am a C.O.G.
And people still consider me weak
My watchmaker inspects me daily
I am always moving according to is timing
Sometimes He rewinds my attention,
Because it's a lesson or even a blessing
In awe, yet fearful of my maker
He could always pull the pin, becoming timeless once again
Regardless, I work according to His plan
I am a C.O.G.
My purpose is simple, keep moving forward
While I share the greatest story ever told
It a timeless classic
I am a C.O.G.
Constantly turning so long as my heart beats
It's an essential involuntary mechanism
Naturally thriving from His watchful hand,
Twenty-four hours is the length of a thousand years
And yet a thousand years, like a day
So I fret not over the ticking second hand,
I am a C.O.G. programmed into His settings
I am a Child Of God
I am a C.O.G.

I am a COG! This poem is amazing! Great work!
This is a great example of how we all can fit together as the body of Christ to move and operate cohesively.
