I am a black woman, a force to be reckoned with,
Born into a world that's rigged against me, it's a myth,
That I should be held back, or kept in a box,
For I am limitless, my spirit unorthodox.
My skin is a symbol of a story untold,
A history of pain and struggles manifold,
But I rise above it, with courage and might,
A warrior queen, a beacon of light.
My curves are my pride, my hair is my crown,
I am more than what they say, I won't let them bring me down,
For black women are magic, a force to be feared,
Our power is real, and it's time that it's revered.
I speak out for those who've been silenced and oppressed,
For my sisters who struggle, who've been dealt an unfair test,
I am their voice, their champion, their guide,
I will not rest until they stand tall with pride.
So hear me and hear me well,
I am a black woman, and I will not be quelled,
My dreams, my ambitions, my goals are all real,
And I will fight for them, with unwavering zeal.
For I am a black woman, unapologetically me,
And I will rise, against all odds, to be all that I can be,
My spirit is fierce, my soul unbreakable,
And I will not rest until my greatness is undeniable.
