Hush Hush

A Poem

By Bri RPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Hush hush

Don't you know you're only a pretty face

Much to your disgrace

Closed lips

Open ears

Soft smile

Clenched fists

Because no one hears

Just wait awhile

Hush hush

You're just a little girl

You don't know a thing

But you could send them into a whirl

All you have to do is swing

Send the words flying

Make it clear there is no denying

Hush hush

You are a queen

But only the king may speak

But you're words are mean

And you will not let them see you weak

Hush hush

Little girl

No one really cares all that much
