Hunting For Bargains

It was the Christmas season.

It was the Christmas season.

My dad recently lost his job.

I needed to find just the right gifts

For family members and friends.

Today I am going to hunt for bargains,

At my favorite thrift store.

I want to find a talking doll for my sister.

My brother wants to play the guitar.

My mom's dishes need to be replaced.

My family needs a new tv set,

I want to fnd books my brother can read,

And I need some new kitchen chairs.

When I hunted for books,

I found some classic Tom Sawyer books.

I found a set of silver plates

That was just the right size.

I found some kitchen chairs

That were made of real wood,

I paid $450.00 for a beginner's guitar

And $20.00 for a talking doll.

The owner of the store gave me

A tv set for only $10.00.

I was happy with my bargains.

My family will have a great Christmas.
