Hundred Gifts

Poem

By Jamye SharpPublished 2 months ago 1 min read

The roads less traveled,

Open the mysteries,

Changes of view,

A turn to gaze outside,

Each falling color,

The hues of memory,

Thankfully given,

Hundred gifts,

For each rhythm,

Celebrations deep,

Per chance a season,

Love the reason.

The changes of life bring maturity. Together with their memories, we always move toward new celebrations. Inner ones, full of love. 😊

I love how you built this up with the short lines that say the bare minimum but leave plenty of room for the imagination.

-Love that the focus of this poem was on the open flower. 🌼 How we could find the mysteries, if only we change our views or gaze outside. - I like the idea of loving the reason for the season. This was a feel good poem, very inspirational with a zest for life. I love it 🤗❤️🖤
