Humans Can Change for Good

If they realize their mistakes

Human personality

is very changeable —

almost like a chameleon.

It can alter

for good or bad.

When change is negative,

it's painful.

But when it’s good,

it’s such a blessing.

My toddler son was once

full of tantrums —

crying, nagging,

rejecting food,

breaking toys

bothering his father

during his work,

scratching his sibling,

and snatching her things.

It was endless, ugly antics.

But then he underwent

a metamorphosis,

and learned manners.

And now

he is a new leaf

he doesn’t interrupt father

during office time,

tells, "he is in meeting."

He hugs his sibling

and says, “Love you.”

He even asks me,

Are you happy?”

It’s so beautiful

to witness

such a lovely change.

Humans mean hope

we just need to realize

and amend our mistakes.

We all have various moments we may have from time to time from anger to happy to frustration to understanding. Behaviors are back and forth, and your toddler just may have a few moments of his before but who knows children change in a blink of an eye. Good job.
