How long

Only actions will tell

By Angel Sparks Published 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

How much of me do I have to give, for you to know what’s right there?

How do I show you without making things unfair?

How can we move forward, if we know your heart is not there

How do I maintain what’s here but make it more?

How can I not stop my heart from falling on the floor?

Seeing your eyes sparkle when you laugh at my awkward humor?

How can I make an advance when I fall back from moving forward?

How can you be so blind, but perfectly fine?

You treat yourself poorly, but try to act alright.

How much more can this go on, before no more silence, just to break the sound?

How to prove, to scream that I’m yours, just shut up and listen

Just listen, cause when I say you are fine

To know that I’m not lying.

Just look into my soul, and surely you know.

About the Creator

Angel Sparks

To me, words will always go with actions, they are beautiful, dicey and all together fun. Actions complete those words, especially when conveying a deep message, I hope to do just that.
