She plays all kinds of games,
asks me to be part
of her whimsical world,
and I nod.
So on a weekend morning,
in the backyard,
we played horsey marriage.
She decorated her horses,
with accessories,
as she desired,
she dressed up herself.
She was the minister,
her brother was the witness,
me, the photographer.
She read vows,
from marriage rule book:
“Rocking horse, do you promise
to cherish Galloping horse
as your wedded wife?
Galloping horse,
do you promise
to cherish Rocking horse
as your wedded husband?
Now, I pronounce you
as wedded couple.
You may kiss.”
We sprinkled flowers,
on the horsey couple.
My inner child,
is so happy
to be part,
of the fairytale wedding.

Nothing like playtime with the kids and the world of pretend. If you are interested there is a fiction story here you can write. Good job.
