I wrote this a few years ago when life was getting really hard. I always try to describe in these pieces how I was feeling and thinking so the reader can feel, think, and see it too.

Standing in the grass

A million minutes pass

My mind off to the races

Feel like screaming

I should be sleeping

Damn these nightly phases

Overflow of thoughts

Tears into flower pots

Heart beat through the roof

Shades of my father

Thoughts of my mother

No such thing as bulletproof

Hopefully Homeless

Best of wishes

Please don't let me drown

Tears of oceans

I’m all out of focus

I’m falling straight down

I can’t breathe

Hill is too steep

Sand covers my face

Hopefully Homeless

Best of wishes

Catch my fall from grace

sad poetry
