Hooray for Pleasurable Potato Chips
An Epulaeryu Poem for Junk Food Day
This is for Mikeydred's Truly July challenge. A few more days to go! Do join the fun here!
Chunky cheeseburgers. Pleasurable pizzas. Fabulous fried chicken. Junk food - can't live with it, can't live without it.
It's junk food day today, a day to give yourself a break fom that weight loss routine and embrace YOLO (You Only Live Once).
It typically represents comfort, indulgence, and pleasure, but we all know that it can be too much of a good thing - overindulgence manifests just the opposite.
But celebrate the day with a packet of potato chips - you've earned it. Enjoy this epulaeryu poem.
Meek potato chip delights
Delectable sin
Eases with savoury taste
Relieving flavour succors
Induges and misleads
Pleasure and perish
In giant
mount.
