Honour Every Commitment

Promise Yourself

By Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished 5 months ago 1 min read
Keep Those Promises

“The most important person

to keep your promise to,

is yourself”

When we keep a promise ‘to ourselves’,

we are building up that confidence and belief

that we need in ourselves.

This will also

strengthen our self-worth.

When we make that promise and keep it,

we are proving to ourselves

that our life has value and is important.

Others also see that

when we keep a promise to ourselves,

that we are reliable

and

take promises seriously.

This also ‘proves’

that we care about ourselves.

Focusing on our own well-being

means that we will fulfill that promise

— because it is important to us personally.

Honour every commitment

you make to yourself

and

you will strengthen your love

for your own life.

All of this adds up

to a happy and contented life.

LIVE AND LOVE LIFE!

Never break a promise to yourself. Very well said.
